During the summers of 2023 and 2024, Amanda assists the Church in running programs to engage the youth and community as part of a grant with the CT Department of Justice. Programs and enrichment activities included field trips to historical sites, arts and music activities, and community speakers and presentation events.
Assists with cultivation of hydroponic crops. Duties include system maintenance, crop maintenance (seeding, testing, harvesting, packing) farmer's market vendor, and educating booth visitors about the process and how a hydroponic farm addresses food scarcity and insecurity.
