As Harding's Engineering Department Social Media Manager, I have learned to curate captivating content and engage a diverse audience. I attend engineering speaker events, create posts highlighting student internships and projects, update the department website, collaborate with professors, and I am working to destigmatize negative engineering stereotypes.
As an Engineering Social Media Manager, I combine my love for engineering with my creative abilities. I thrive in discovering innovative ways to communicate complex engineering concepts to a wide audience, which will assist me in a future career. And I hope to inspire others to move past the stigma of engineering and embrace the field's diverse opportunities.
Published author in college newspaper on my personal experience with the intersection of engineering and crafting.
