Club President at Zero Robotics
Zero Robotics is an international tournament involving teams from the US, Greece, Italy, Germany, United Kingdom, Portugal, Spain, Czech Republic, Romania, Russia, Belgium, Mexico, and Poland and started in 2009. Teams of high school students work together to write computer programming code that will run SPHERES, soccer ball sized robots that can move and interact in a zero gravity or micro gravity environment. Several phases of virtual competition will be followed by the finals that will actually be run aboard the International Space Station! The basis of the tournament is a game, with specific objectives and opportunities to gain or lose points. Madison High School formed a team, known as the Bobcat PAWS. This is one of three teams in Idaho and the only one in South East Idaho.

Head Yearbook Editor at MHS Madisonian
I began as a sophomore staffer, then moved to assistant editor as a junior. Here, in my senior year, I am head editor of the book. This is a huge responsibility and an incredible opportunity to have a lasting effect on my school and community. I dedicate more time to this endeavor than to any other class or activity I am involved in.

Worker at Treehouse Nursery
This local family-owned greenhouse is a wonderful environment and a unique employment opportunity. I love the labor, my fellow employees, and the customers that we serve. The lessons I have learned through this job extend from the plants themselves, business management, environmental responsibilities, and many more.
