I am a Professional Certified Marketer with diverse marketing and communications experience in corporate, agency and nonprofit environments. As a Senior Account Manager at Lessing-Flynn, I am a relationship and brand builder that drives marketing strategies to achieve client goals and grow their business. Prior to Lessing-Flynn, I was a Communication Manager at Wellmark Blue Cross and Blue Shield partnering with internal business partners on communication strategies for the consumer market segment. I also have business strategy and B2C and B2B marketing and communications experience ranging from traditional marketing to strategy and implementation from Happy Medium, TMG Financial Services, Americas Family Coaches, Trilix and Weber Shandwick in Chicago, where I started my career. I am a Past President of the Iowa chapter of the American Marketing Association (AMA Iowa) and a proud member of the Greater Des Moines Leadership Institute Class of 2013, the Community Connect Class of 2014, a 2016 Business Record Forty Under 40 Honoree and 2015 Juice YP of the Year Finalist. Passionate about giving back to my community, I spend time outside of work as the Chair of the Marketing Committee for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Central Iowa, President of the University of Iowa Professional MBA Program's Student Association, volunteering for Variety - the Children's Charity and am a Commissioner for the Iowa Commission on Volunteer Service executing the Governor's volunteer strategy. These opportunities allow me to pursue my passion for connecting and engaging people within Iowa and the Des Moines community.
