The Behavioral Instructor is responsible for planning and implementing activity services for assigned program, which involves implementing treatment goals as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team and providing continuous patient care, observation, interaction, and role modeling to patients under the direction of an RN.

The classroom instructor is under general supervision of the Certified Teacher and/or individual assigned as lead teacher; is responsible for implementing specific tasks to accomplish the individual education plan for the children assigned to his/her supervision. Classroom instructor is to work with a team of professionals to provide specialized instruction and care for children/adolescents.

Assists in the development and implementation of special therapeutic programs.
Connects the family and client with resources and services needed to meet basic needs.
Provides follow-up and consultation with referral sources and/or involved agencies to ensure continuity of care.
Assists with physician and nurse scheduling, providing transportation when needed.
