Angelique Edwards

I am an International Affairs and Modern Languages major at the Georgia Institute of Technology; my interests lie in security issues, human rights, international development, and political science. My education, that integrates science and technology with liberal arts, will make me competitive in the workforce, and my optimism, ability to motivate others, and ability to adapt to change makes me an asset in any company or agency. In the past, I worked as a student intern for the GA Victory 2014 campaign, which was Michelle Nun's campaign for US Senate and Jason Carter's Campaign for the Governor of GA. I was also an administrative intern with Georgia Cares, the single statewide coordinating agency to combat domestic minor sex trafficking in the state of Georgia. Last Spring, I completed a research internship with the Center for Civil and Human Rights where I worked within the International Human Trafficking Institute. Skills I have accumulated through my education, work, and personal experience include use of statistical analysis software, excel, communications, public speaking, leadership, research, ability to perform under pressure, and ability to inspire ideas within others.
