Alyssa Padjen

At the preschool, I work with three year old kids in the afternoon starting at nap time. On an average day, my room will have one other teacher, with 12-15 kids in the room. I help them go to sleep, and then clean up the room and beds when they wake up. I help set up snacks, teach lesson plans, play games, and go to the park. I help clean the room and put away the toys, assist the kids in swimming and ice skating, and help my lead teacher where she needs me. We help the kids go to the bathroom and keep them in a safe contained environment.

At stein's, I work as a part-time cashier. I welcome customers when they arrive, and answer as many questions as I can. I make sure the customer is directed to the right location or employee to be satisfied. I thank the customers for coming to the store, and ring out their items, accepting cash, card and check as payment. I also occasionally will do other tasks, such as stocking the shelves, putting back items where they belong, watering plants, setting up Christmas trees, cleaning the facilities and floor, and unloading trucks.

At the Kenosha Kingfish, I worked as a seasonal cashier and food - runner at the main concessions stand for their first season ever. I was responsible for taking orders, working with my peers to complete orders, stay focused and organized, and have excellent customer service skills. I accepted cash, card and check as payment from customers and wrote down orders using an ipad and a notepad.
