Arianna Pappas

Hi! My name is Arianna and I'm a pop/country singer and songwriter from Long Island, NY. I've been singing for most of my life, writing since I was 10 years old, and playing guitar since fourteen. I studied Studio Composition at Purchase College for two years and am currently in the Songwriting program at Belmont University. My original music can be defined as pop with a singer-songwriter/country twist. I love writing songs because it gives me the chance to express my feelings in a different way. It is very therapeutic as well and helps me cope with my experiences. I write about everything from the clouds in the sky to devastating heartbreak and loss. I have found a passion for writing about my favorite books and movies as well. I compose most of my material myself and have also been cowriting a lot with my friends/classmates recently. For about four years now, I have been performing The Star-Spangled Banner at over seventy high school and college sporting events throughout New York. These events include Robotics competitions, lacrosse, soccer, tennis, swimming, Long Island Championship basketball and volleyball games, and various championship events hosted by The Skyline Conference. I have also been given the incredible opportunities to sing at Hofstra University, Farmingdale State College, and Suffolk County Community College. These experiences have been extremely rewarding for me. During the 2021 Spring semester, I started volunteering at Song Suffragettes. Song Suffragettes is an all-female writer's night that takes place every Monday night at the Listening Room Cafe. I have thoroughly enjoyed working with Taylor, Todd, and my classmates/friends so far! It has been so rewarding to meet new people and listen to such great music every week. I can't wait to continue helping out there.
