Arnisha Jones

• Participates in the personnel process for department staff including, but not limited to, hiring, supervision, on-the-job training, discipline and evaluation of staff performance and identification of other training needs.
• Leads staff members in providing the highest quality service to all internal and external customers, which include building group morale and cohesiveness, managing group processes and achieving team goals.
• Plans work flow of team including staffing for effective public service in person and in a call center environment.
• Manages public services in support of the library’s mission as it relates to circulation services at the Main Library
• Oversees circulation processes at the Main Library, including but not limited to check in and check out of material, issuing library cards, and processing payments of fines, fees, etc.
• Balances cash receipts.
• Resolves all materials recovery appeals for the Library.
• Plays a key role in patron account issues, including handling of issues with bounced checks.
• Provides narrative and statistical reports.
• Makes recommendations for service improvement to department manager.
• Insures compliance with standard operating procedures.
• Represents Library at meetings, conferences and seminars.
