I was born on March 3, 1993, in Annapolis, MD and raised in the Shenandoah Valley. After graduating John Handley High School in 2011, I began taking classes at Lord Fairfax Community College, but after finishing my first year, I soon realized I was missing a clear direction in my studies and decided to take a break from school. I spent two years working fulltime as a server and moved out to my first apartment. I began to write more than I ever had before and after those two years, I realized I wanted to go back to school for writing. I reenrolled at LFCC in Fall of 2014 and continued on my academic journey leading me to JMU in the Fall of 2016.
