Allison Smith
My name is Allison Smith. I am certified in PA to teach K-6 Elementary Education and K-12 Instructional Technology. I have my Master's Degree in Instructional Technology and am a Specialist in the field. I earned my Bachelor's Degree at Carlow University in 2012 and my Master's Degree at Duquesne University in 2017. Currently, I am working toward my Principal Certification and Doctorate Degree (Ed.D) in Administration and Leadership at Slippery Rock University.
I am a fifth-grade math and science teacher at Franklin Regional School District. I have been teaching for ten years (as of 2023) and have been a private tutor (K-12 and post-secondary) for a little over 20 years. Additionally, I am the Director of our Summer Learning Loss Programs (Summer Tutoring Program and ESY) and the Director of the Afterschool Tutoring Program. In addition to being a teacher and a student, I am also a wife and a mother of 2: Bailey (24) and Ava (15). I am from the Pittsburgh area and still reside in the suburbs. I have three German Shepherds whom I adore: Harley (4), Casper (3), and Ripley (2).
