Juan Rubio

Georgia Institute of Technology, Class of 2019
From Boynton Beach, FL
Originally from Colombia, I migrated to the United States in the search of a better life in 2002. On May 9, 2016, I graduated from Broward College in Davie, Florida and received my Associate's Degree in Pre-Engineering. Currently, I am attending Georgia Institute of Technology. I have a desire to inspire those around me into believing in their dreams and aspirations, be it at Georgia Tech, the community, or in my family. One of the reasons I chose aerospace engineering is because I have a deep passion for flight and space exploration. Many of the advancements of space technology benefit us here on Earth, and also, they pave the way towards us living on other planets. I want to be part in this new age of technology. With my determination, persistence, passion, and my love for education, I hope to make a change within the industry, which would benefit the next generation of leaders.
