Ai Thai

Majored in Aerospace Engineering
Georgia Institute of Technology, Class of 2023
From Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam
Over my 4.5 years at Tech, I got to immerse myself in various different communities and find ways to make my college experience meaningful. One of the highlights is founding an Honor Societies Board while I was a Director of Internal Development at Tau Beta Pi National Engineering Honor Society which gathers leaders from across majors to organize events. Together, we organized a Career Open Forum to help improve the Career Center on campus and a cross-departmental social event. From this effort, my leadership was recognized by the initiation to the Omicron Delta Kappa National Leadership Honor Society. In addition, I am also an International Student Ambassador to help international students assimilate to a new country. Other than that, Georgia Tech provided me with an opportunity to study abroad, work for 5 semesters (1 of them is in another country), worked part-time at a Maker Space, and participate in 3 research projects. My personal growth was also not without the countless number of workshops and speakers that Georgia Tech brought to campus which helped me learned about the world after college. Right now, I am an Engineering Project Manager full-time, and pursuing the Master of Science in Analytics from Georgia Tech part-time. I look forward to applying my problem solving, leadership, teamwork and a love of learning to make an impact in the Aviation and Analytics industry.
