Audrey Schmitt Alves

Audrey S. Schmitt Alves served in the Marine Corps as a Sergeant for 5 years. In that time she worked as a Graphics and Reproduction Specialist, and Digital Engagement Producer, with a second billet as a Public Affairs Specialist, within the Communication Operations Branch, Communication Directorate, Headquarters Marine Corps, at the Pentagon in Washington, D.C. She was born and raised in Brazil, immigrated to the U.S., graduating from Massapequa High School, in New York. Sgt. Alves joined the Marine Corps in 2018 and completed her basic training at MCRD Parris Island, South Carolina on August 03, 2018. Upon graduation from boot camp, Sgt. Alves received various training and education in the Marine Corps, including but not limited to the Marine Combat Training (MCT); Defense Information School (DINFOS), and Long Island University Post (LIU Post). Sgt. Alves personal achievements include the National Defense Medal, the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, the Marine Corps Good Conduct Medal, the Navy and Marine Corps Achievement Medal, and two Letters of Appreciation from notable commanders in the Marine Corps.
