I help with the registration, payment and procedures necessary for the smooth execution of all sports camps. My responsibilities included sending emails to camp parents informing them when and where to meet on the first day of camp, as well as what to bring. I also communicate with the coaches to make sure all of their needs are met for their camp ahead. In my position I deal first hand with campers and their parents when having to sign them in and handle payments that need to be deposited to the Summer Camp Accounts so we can pay out our coaches. Along with my co-intern we make popsicle runs for the campers as well as run concessions. We also run a week long Multi Sport Camp with elementary school kids from the area.
