From Los Gatos, Calif.
I am currently studying to earn my B.S. Degree in Environmental Engineering at the University of Southern California. This year, I am serving as Director of Advocacy for the USC Environmental Student Assembly. I look forward to working with administrators and staff to implement sustainable initiatives at the university.
I am an enthusiastic person who loves meeting and working with new people! I am diligent, organized, and optimistic. Born in Silicon Valley, I have fostered a fondness for the future, technology, and our planet. Traveling throughout my childhood gave me a perspective of the world through a global lens. Using my engineering education, I am eager to do my best to heal the environment and return the Earth to a sustainable state of wellbeing.
I recently began working for Ramboll Environ, an environmental engineering consulting company, as an Air Quality Associate. I am excited for the challenge of working in the consulting sector and look forward to aiding our clients. Last summer I completed my summer internship at the Los Angeles County Sanitation Districts as a student engineer in the Energy Recovery Engineering section. My main project for the summer was to create a solar rollout plan for the Districts to implement solar power at their facilities. My analysis included identifying viable facilities and potential solar panel locations by creating power demand profiles, site maps with GIS software, and summary fact sheets; and performing economic analyses to determine the cost effectiveness of each project. This cohesive solar roadmap was well received when I presented it to upper management.
In the future, I look forward to completing my Bachelor's Degree, pursuing my Master's Degree, and earning my EIT certification.
