Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant at University of Arkansas at Little Rock
My responsibilities vary greatly and may include: tutoring; holding office hours; invigilating tests or exams; and assisting a professor with a large lecture class by teaching students in laboratory, or by holding discussion sessions. ★Project Mentored★ ⇨ Data Analytics Engine For UnityWare Systems: UnityWare has been providing data visualization services to the world since 2000. They design minimal interfaces and advance data amalgamation for medical systems. Currently, they rely on predefined queries for analyzing their data. This project’s purpose is to develop an engine that automates these queries on their datasets and cleanly allows the development of new features. Objectives For this project, the main objectives are ● Develop a programmerless, portable analytics engine. ● An encapsulated, generic engine with the intent to develop plugins. ● Design a core processor, whether it will be based on AI or on rules. ⇨ Unityware Advanced Interface: The ultimate goal of this project is to redesign the interface of the Unityware software to produce a single object, also called a topic, that can handle all three functions of transaction initiation, transaction processing, and output of ancillary information performed by the current interface. The main goal of this project is to enhance the user interface of the current system with a large emphasis on intuitive design. From the work and research, the deliverables and derivations should include: ● Complete list of Topic components and functions ● Final project design in UML ● Final requirements analysis document, and ● Working prototype. The prototype includes test cases and scenarios derived from design, a validation report searching for bugs, flaws, and trade offs, and a report addressing the feedback and recommended changes by trial users. The users are the most important participants in this project, so all considerations must ultimately result in benefits to them.
