Lexington Concord (School Newspaper)

School newspaper was revitalized my senior year of high school. Edited and approved the articles before submitting them to the principal. Provided ideas and help to all writers. Would stay after school, come in before school, and spend time throughout the day reading and fixing articles. Had my own "life-advice" column.

Spanish National Honor Society

Went down to local elementary school (grades 4th-6th) twice a week for over a year to teach the kids beginning Spanish. This was important to me because the best track for a student in Spanish in high school is to begin talking classes their 8th grade year. In order to do this, the students have to express interest in pursuing a language and so I believed that introducing them at a younger age would helps spark an interest by junior high.

Was just a member the first three years and then become captain my senior year. Was in charge of organizing and hosting team bonding events throughout the summer and during the course of the season. Provided team pep-talks before and after matches, tournaments, and practices. Was a face for the Lady Lex Golf Team during all captain and coaches meetings throughout the school year. Led my team to districts.

Handled and was in charge of all gift cards, discount cards, cash, and credit card slips for the entire restaurant.
Answered the phone every time it rung.
Was in charge of all carry-out orders.
Was in charge of greeting customers and seating them in the correct tables and rotations.
Would run food and beverages for the servers.
