I am a US Army Veteran and retired from 10 years of service from the Mountain Home VA Medical Center. I decided to finally live my dream of becoming a journalist. I work for the East Tennessean newspaper at ETSU and part of a student run web magazine Overlooked in Appalachia. I enjoy photography and spending time with my family and dogs. My wife is my rock and biggest supporter.
