Elizabeth Beaman

As a 4th year B.S in Public Health student at the University of Iowa I have a well rounded understanding of medical institutions and their need for business. My position at the University of Iowa Hospitals and Clinics consisted of protocol development aimed to decrease diagnostic error in the Pediatric Intensive Care Unit. Throughout this experience I developed a deeper understanding of how hospitals and medical offices operate. Through my own battle with chronic pain I have developed a passion for medicine and medical devices that aim to help those suffering the way I have. I am a driven achiever and I value hard work, dedication, and attention to detail. I succeed in busy, fast paced environments as well as with teamwork. I find that my skills are best put to use when I can apply them to creative and innovative solutions to complex problems. My communication and public speaking skills are thoroughly developed and I am always striving to continue educating myself in every way possible.
