Dr. Benjamin Harper joined the Valdosta State University faculty in July 2017. He holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in wind conducting from Texas Tech University, a Master of Music in wind conducting from the University of Kansas, and a Bachelor of Music Education from Iowa State University. Prior to entering the field of higher education, he worked as the director of bands for Humboldt High School.
