Benjamin Mecham

I'm from a family of eight with an even split of boys and girls. We moved around a lot growing up, so we lived in Arizona, Missouri, Texas, and Minnesota before circling back to Arizona. I did a year of community college before going on a two year mission for my church to El Salvador where I learned the language and loved the people. I returned home briefly before heading off to Utah to earn a bachelor's degree in mathematics from BYU, then decided to pursue medicine. I eventually came to work as a medical scribe and got to know many stellar physicians before getting accepted and choosing to come to NYITCOM.
