Personally responsible for over 30 powered and non-powered employees in areas of responsibility ranging from receiving, shipping, re-warehousing, value added, customer orders and bulk fill, auditing, overnight rushes, and internal logistics. Emphasizing safety first, I actively supervise the operations and logistics of a high tempo and evolving 500,000 ft2 Distribution Center utilizing a variety of powered forklift equipment. I developed numerous process-improvement strategies and procedures using Lean principles and innovative thinking that furnished impressive spikes in production, accuracy, quality, efficiency, and morale. Experienced in numerous business software systems such as SAP, (WMS), Red Prairie, PeopleSoft (LMS), and MS PPT, Word, Excel and Outlook. Established a well-oiled team that continuously surpasses benchmark expectations and has broken the production record on two separate occasions; 25,000 cases, followed by a staggering 32,000 cases while still surpassing all other business objectives. Served in numerous leadership and management positions in combat and garrison, culminating as the Operations Sergeant Major and senior enlisted of Operations for the United States Army Cadet Command and Fort Knox. Coordinated training and daily operations for more than 8,500 cadets, 1,700 Soldiers, 1300 Department of the Army Civilians, and 230 contractors. Provided technical and strategic guidance, instruction and policy and procedural interpretation to assist others in meeting deadlines for crucial taskings and other requirements. Frequently served as the lead-trainer for critical training and played a key role in talent acquisition and retention. Developed new training strategies for over 1000 soldiers that prepared them for the rigors of combat operations. Served as the senior supply and logistics coordinator at the executive level.
