Brittany Metzger

I gradauted High School in 2005 and worked for a while in banking before I began classes at Suffolk Community College. I graduated from Suffolk in 2013 and then transferred to Farmingdale State College. Why I chose Criminal Justice Law Enforcement Technology as my major was not because of all the CSI shows that are on TV but because I am more intrigued with receiving my degree and applying it to the Intelligence field of the Armed Forces, Air Force branch.I have a desire and the root is not because of a television show. I have had these dreams since middle school (17 years now). Another aspect of myself is my love and devotion to snowboarding. I have my own company as well called Brikhead. My 20 year goal is to eventually open a factory and design boards and gear. My biggest support is my husband of 2 years now, the boy next door. We were neighbors our entire lives. He has watched me work extremely hard for the past two years with schooling and work and I could not have a better support system. A big Thank You goes to all the professors and my colleagues for standing by me through everything. School is not easy but I am extremely happy with my choice for Farmingdale and it is sad to think this is the end.
