Hello! I am Brooklynn Wauhob, a student at the University of Iowa. Currently, I am a Human Physiology Major, but I also plan on finding a minor that brings me joy along with the Pre-PA track that I am on. My end goal is to be admitted into a PA program that fits me best and will help guide me efficiently to becoming a PA. I am a very hardworking, driven, proactive, and kinesthetic person whether it be in the classroom, on the job, or in everyday life. I strive every day to keep up with the goals that I have set for myself in the sense that I am very stubborn when it comes to letting myself down. Furthermore, I hold myself to very high standards so I can consistently meet my endpoints. In the end, I know that there will always be some type of failure, yet I am not disappointed when I am faced with it. I see it as a point for improvement and self-exploration to see where I can level-up. I hope you find my Merit Page easy to navigate and stately. Bowling Club

In this club, we met up everything Thursday night at Colonial Lanes. I decided to join this club because I knew that I liked to bowl, and I could kill two birds with one stone by letting this club provide me with a nice break from my classes and everyday stressors. I met a lot of amazing people and am glad that I joined since I have broadened my social group.

In this club, I was paired up with connections in the community, was educated on the process of becoming a PA student, and how to be the most successful version of myself. This club is very helpful for me in the sense that it gave me insight on the PA world and what to expect so I can prepare myself for what is to come.

Dance Marathon

In this activity, I spent my entire school year fundraising for the Stead Family Children's Hospital and kiddos that are diagnosed with cancer on Level 11. Being in this organization has brought light to so many things I never knew I needed to know about. I am now more passionate about the health care setting and how it needs help in every aspect. Health care isn't supposed to be easy, but with the help of Dance Marathon, we are able to make it a bit easier.
