Supervises and helps children with all daily living activities, implements the Behavioral Treatment System and Individual Treatment Plans, provides Crisis Intervention, and in general controls and maintains the therapeutic structure and organization of the unit.
Positioned on Ambrose Unit (girls, age 9-13). I worked with the girls on homework, daily routine, hygiene and self- care, as well as social and interpersonal skill building activities. I also co-facilitated milieu groups, recreational groups and skill building groups, as well as intervened and provided support to the girls on an individual level. I was also responsible for milieu notes and paperwork as needed.
