February, 21 2019 - Gettysburg College Completed an internship at an NGO for Afro-Brazilian women, in a Portuguese-speaking environment, while studying abroad in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.
Researched reproductive justice throughout the world, and compiled a comprehensive report of summaries on particular articles to contribute to Criola's online resource database.
Assisted the Project Coordinator/Strategic Litigation Coordinator to events and meetings - took notes at a forum on prison reform in Brazil, helped set up a demonstration outside of a women's prison, and supported a workshop on black feminism/reproductive justice.
