Camille Ramos

Camille Ramos was born and raised in the Philippines. She moved to the United States in 2008. Back in the Philippines, she attended De Lasalle Zobel from kindergarten to the 5th grade. When she moved to California, she attended Queen of All Saints School. In eight grade, she transferred to St. Francis of Assisi School. Currently, she is a senior at Northgate High School. Camille will be attending San Diego State University in the Fall of 2015 and will be majoring in Cellular and Molecular Biology. Camille participates in various extracurricular activities. She has been part of the Norgate womens tennis team since freshman year starting in JV. Sophomore year, she moved up to varsity. Camille is a member of many school clubs such as Key Club, California Scholarship Federation, National Honors Society, Filipino Cultural Club, and Polynesian club. She is the vice president of two of these clubs, Filipino and Polynesian cultural club. Every Sunday, Camille volunteers at Montecito Senior Living and plays the piano for Alzheimer's patients. She has been playing the piano since she was seven years old. In her spare time, Camille also enjoys drawing and painting. She also has an ultimate passion for Tahitian Dance. She is part of the "Da Island Way" dance group from Concord. Every year, they perform and showcase the polynesian culture and dances. Becoming a dentist and orthodontist is Camille's dream ever since she was young; this dream never really changed. Her uncle is a dentist and she enjoys visiting his clinic to watch him work on his patients. In fact, over the summer, Camille volunteered at the clinic and assisted some of the procedures. One day, Camille hopes to achieve this dream.
