Charbel Aoun

Charbel Aoun is a University Assistant of the Center for Instructional Innovation for Georgia State University and an active leader on campus. Charbel serves as the founding president of Colleges Against Cancer of Georgia State University, a certified collegiate team of the American Cancer Society Colleges Against Cancer. He also is a member of the Georgia State University Student Library Advisory Council and the University chapter of the National Society of Collegiate Scholars. Charbel is a published author in the Undergraduate Research Journal for the Human Sciences for his work titled "Using Tableau as a Data Visualization Tool to Explore Recurring Cancer Trends," and an invited speaker at a University System of Georgia Board of Regents meeting and other collegiate, political, and national conferences and presentations across the East Coast. Charbel has received awards from the College Board as part of the College Board Youth Advisory Council and the Award for Excellence from the National Academy of Future Physicians and Medical Scientists. He is an Honors Student at Georgia State University obtaining his Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Chemistry and awarded the Coca-Cola First Generation Scholarship and the Elizabeth and Michael Kenny Scholarship. As the first in his family to attend college, he is determined to help younger students achieve success in higher education.
