Caroline Fletcher

My name is Caroline Fletcher. Currently, I am the social media specialist for Delta State University, a Division II affiliate. However, I worked in athletic communications for six years. I graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in sport management and an emphasis in marketing from Union University in 2013 and a Master of Science degree in sport and human performance with a concentration in sports management. My love of sports comes from my father, who raised me on Memphis Tigers athletics and St. Louis Cardinals baseball. I played softball for 12 years, including three years at Union. After what ultimately became a career-ending knee injury, I began working in the sports information office on softball game days. For the next three years, I only gained more experience with other sports. This led to a graduate assistant position in the athletic communications office at Delta State, where I met my husband who was also a graduate assistant but as a football coach. He is now the co-offensive coordinator for Delta State Statesmen.
