At Georgia State University, I retained a deep interest in International Economics with regard to multinational corporations. In addition, I am studying the German language to further my communication and travel abilities. In 2014, I studied abroad at a nationally acclaimed university in Berlin, Germany. There I was enrolled in both business and economics courses as well as intensive German language courses. Outside of Berlin, I studied with my program in Potsdam, Nuremberg, and Prague. Furthermore, in my independent travels I visited the following countries: Switzerland, Italy, Belgium, Austria, Slovenia, Denmark, and the Netherlands. These travels broadened my perspectives and increased my communication abilities. In 2015, I gained vital experience in the corporate environment through an internship with Valmet, Inc. in Norcross, GA. Valmet is a multinational corporation based in Finland that employs people in over 50 countries. While there, I was given the opportunity to show my leadership skills as well as my ability to take instruction with great attention to detail. I instructed a group of 4 interns to input data and check for errors in a database of over 40,000 entries. This required a thorough knowledge of the database as well as my ability to change my communication styles per each intern. I also made daily reports to my supervisor and handled other tasks including sorting through various legal documents and invoices, which required utmost attention to detail. In May 2016, I graduated from Georgia State University with a B.A. in International Economics and Modern Languages. My objective is to find a full-time position with a multinational corporation involving business operations, administration, and data analysis. Furthermore, I hope to find a position in which my knowledge of the German language can be utilized.
