In the Company of Flowers is a small local floral and gift shop located in Keene, New Hampshire. At this job I assisted in sales, gained customer service experience, assisted in delivery, and filled out orders. I also gained excellent communication skills within working this job due to the hard circumstances a customer may need floral arrangements for.
I worked in three different departments within my time at American House. I worked in Dining for a year and a half, Activities, and as a Concierge for about a year. Each department required a different set of responsibilities and skills, but the safety of our residents was always the top priority. I gained excellent communication skills with residents, coworkers, and families. I also gained experience with Covid-19 safety protocols and precautions.
