Courtney Flinn

"Stay hungry. Stay foolish." This quote by Steve Jobs describes the mentality I have had from day one. I have always striven to take leaps out of my comfort zone, and I always want more. I am never satisfied with simply being "average" and I always want to better my best. I do everything with passion or not at all. I am always up for a challenge. Stay hungry. Stay foolish. I am currently a junior at Alvernia University in Reading, Pennsylvania where I am pursuing a Bachelor's of Science in Marketing. My decision to study marketing stemmed from an opportunity I gained as a student service representative at Patriot Federal Credit Union, where I took the initiative to design a poster to generate membership in the student branch. From there, I was able to pitch in with the marketing strategy and my original interest in marketing grew exponentially. I plan to pursue my Master's in Business Administration after graduating from Alvernia University with my Bachelor's degree a semester ahead of time in December 2017. I am always looking for ways in which to better myself and to gain more experience in my field. I am actively searching for internships to fill the remainder of my college career.
