I have been employed with UnitedHealthcare New Mexico since 2008. We are one of four managed care organizations (MCOs) chosen by the state to administer the Medicaid program. New Mexico is unique in that one in three individuals within the state receive their healthcare coverage through the Medicaid program (Almost 600,000 people).
I have a wide ranging number of responsibilities including the analysis of claims payments, health care data analytics, reporting, executive and state related issues and provider relations.
