Ceilia Severini

Hi my name is Ceilia Severini and I'm a recent graduate of Bucknell University, where I studied Neuroscience and Classics. I am a candidate for a Masters in Biomedical Sciences at Geisinger Commonwealth School of Medicine. I aspire to attend medical school and earn my MD after I graduate from graduate school. My past majors, Neuroscience and Classics, sound like a strange combination, but it makes a lot of sense. I am very interested in both the brain and classics. Knowing Latin has also helped me very much with scientific terms in my Neuro and Bio classes. I also believe in the well-rounded aspect of a liberal arts education and am making the most of it by doubling majoring in a STEM major and a Humanities major. I believe in hard work and taking all the opportunities I can. I currently am employed by the Wright Center for Graduate Medical Education as the IRB Intern.
