Celeste Tejeda

Celeste is a mother of two wonderful children. She is a proud mother of a Sailor who serves in the USS Navy. Her daughter is a member of the National Junior Society. Both of them are wonderful kids (her best gift as Celeste says). Celeste's motivation is to be an example. She quotes: "Worry not that your child listens to you; worry most that they watch you" (Ronald Heifetz). In the same way, she says, people around you observe the way you are and what you do, so make sure everything that you do encourage others to do the same. At this moment, Celeste is a student at Grace Christian University since 2018. She is a follower of Christ working on her bachelor's degree in Science in Psychology in order to be more effective in the community. She has been recognized for earning a spot on the President's list in Spring 2019 with a 4.00 GPA! and on the Dean's list in 2018, 2019, and 2020 for a 3.92 GPA. Celeste's passion is to learn and to work with others. For example, in New York at (Kingsborough Community College) she took Hebrew in a language class to experiment something different. Also, she is an active volunteer on different projects in the community and her local church. Her hobbies are traveling, hike in trails, taking pictures, and enjoy free time with the family. Celeste will be completing all her credits for the Bachelor degree in the summer of 2021 where another chapter will start in her life. She is open to new opportunities in her career by putting everything on God's hands. She concluded saying: "The Lord will fulfill his purpose for me; your steadfast love, O Lord, endures forever" (Psalm 138:8. ESV).
