August, 08 2017 - Iowa State UniversityWhile interning for the Pinto Horse Association of America in Tulsa, Oklahoma summer 2017, I met and worked with some of the best employers in the industry. I kept myself busy on a day to day basis by starting my mornings off handing out awards to all of the 3 arenas, keeping the judges rooms stocked and doing any miscellaneous paper work in the show office. After the busy mornings, I had the pleasure to interact with the vendors and making sure they had everything they needed. Also walking the barns was a task I found myself doing daily. This was to make sure no one was having troubles with anything nor trying to sell certain items that would take the attention away from our vendors. And lastly, finishing our days with handing out awards to the individual winners and holding all the extra curricular events that went on throughout the entire 2 week show.
