Microbiology Undergraduate Student Association

I was elected Treasurer at the end of my freshman year of college in MUSA. As a member in this role, I am primarily responsible for organizing the funding of this club from fundraising events, as well as helping set up club funds for trips to the American Society of Microbiology (ASM) conference for members.

Resident Assistant at Belin-Blank Center at the University of Iowa

As a Resident Assistant (RA) for the Belin-Blank Center, I was responsible for the well-being of students in elementary to high school attending academic summer programming. I personally was responsible for leading older students to activities as well as aiding in their scientific research and presentations.

In the Maury lab, I was responsible for routine laboratory maintenance of equipment as well as conducting experiments related to the plasmid isolation, gene editing, and standard molecular biology procedures.
