Part of a technology engineers/architects which partner with the business to achieve goals laid down by the leadership team. My focus is to provide innovative business solutions that eliminate waste, maximize customer satisfaction and improve business productivity. A major initiative which we are working on is the DevOps strategy for entire organization. I am working on migrating databases/applications to Oracle Cloud, Amazon AWS and Microsoft Azure. As part of that I work with enterprise architects to decide future direction of cloud-based technical solutions. Also collaborate with different team members, vendors, technology partners and business analysts to build applications using cloud and custom development tools. Another main piece of the cloud strategy is orchestration and automation. Learning integration with Chef and ServiceNow. Developing a proof-of-concept enterprise data hub/ data lake in cloud. Activities include architecting, design and building of big data platform primarily based on Hadoop eco system that is fault-tolerant and scalable. Working from an architect perspective on Test Data Management initiative. Exploring different vendors such as Delphix, Informatica and Solix technologies. Test Data Management includes data provisioning, masking, encryption where self-service, automation and cloud integration are core capabilities. Come up with standards template for Database technologies. This includes pattern and use case templates for database and related technologies. This encompasses various database platforms such as Oracle, SQL Server, Teradata, DynamoDB, MongoDB and Hadoop HBase.
