Work Experience

Physical Therapy Aide at PT Solutions Physical Therapy

Greeting the patients and taking them to the back. Most go through a four step process before being seen by the therapist. The steps are Warm Up on a stationary bike, treadmill, or with heat packs, Mobility, Fatigue which requires using the target muscle to the make it encourage more effective manipulation, trigger point release, and dry needling by the therapist, and Balance/Proprioception. It is my job to lead patients through various exercises and activities that follow these guidelines, essentially taking them through everything up to the therapist's hands-on work.
