UAF - Leadership for Climate Action Design - Scholarship Any Fay Jones student entering their 3rd, 4th, or 5th year. Preference is given to Arkansans. Students must submit an essay demonstrating their professional commitment, leadership, and capability to: Advance profound ideas and solutions for carbon neutrality. Advance measures for design excellence that affect far-reaching social and environmental consequences. Advance ideas and solutions that anticipate the long-term effects of climate change for populations and regions. When applying, students must also submit a project electronically (such as narrative, video, illustrations, mixed media, etc.) that considers the following: The science and effects of global warming and climate change, Leadership and design processes that promote new practices, priorities, and methodologies, Design thinking and outcomes for consequential climate action.
