Connor Lange

I am a photographer and photo editor based in New York. My most recent position was as a production assistant with Natural Expressions, a boutique photography studio in New York City. While at Ithaca, I was heavily involved in 'The Ithacan' serving as an assistant photo editor, photo editor, staff photographer, podcast host, and 'Year in Review' photo editor. In 2017, I won Photo of the Year and repeated the win in 2018. Also in 2018, I won 1st and 3rd place in photography in the New York Press Association's Better Newspaper Contest and in 2019 I won The Ithacan's award for outstanding achievement. I also photographed for numerous student organizations including IC Unbound, IC Prism, Girl Up, Women in Sports Media, ICTV, and Pulse Hip Hop. In the 2018-2019 academic year, I worked in the Department of Theatre Arts as a photocall photographer for their mainstage season. During the same year, I worked with the department to create my senior photography thesis "Beyond the Boards" which I use to showcase the work of those not in the spotlight and was awarded the Pendelton Grant for Photography from the Park School. In the spring of 2018, I took part in ICLA, interning with Howling Wolf Productions and MaRS Gallery. In the summers of 2018 and 2019, I was the photography intern with The Glimmerglass Festival in Cooperstown, NY.
