Hi I'm Courtney, a 5th year biomedical engineering student at Georgia Tech that is very excited to be getting out this May (2024). I am originally from Los Angeles, but have been living in the metro Atlanta area for a while now so I guess you could say I'm from ATL too. I will not be giving up my allegiance to the Dodgers though. Through my time at Georgia Tech I have had the opportunity to explore various avenues of where my degree can take me in medicine, industry, research, and consulting and these experiences have allowed me to hone a skillset comprising of time and project management, attention to detail, presentation delivery, working cross-functionally, performing statistical analyses, physical and rapid prototyping, and my favorite - confidence in my ability to learn something new. While I am very technical in many of my roles, I am creatively tuned at heart with a love for fashion and apparel design and I am very passionate about finding ways to integrate this with engineering.
