Melody Cruz

I am a Doctor of Pharmacy Candidate at Texas A&M University Rangel College of Pharmacy (PharmD, May 2018) and am simultaneously enrolled in a Masters of Business Administration, Health Service Administration at Texas A&M University Kingsville (MBA, December 2017). I am a proud member of many professional pharmacy organizations including American Pharmacists Association Association of Student Pharmacists (APhA-ASP), Student Societies of Health-System Pharmacy (SSHP), Student National Pharmaceutical Association (SNPhA), and Academy of Managed Care Pharmacy (AMCP). I was a founding member and previous Vice President of Finance for AMCP at Texas A&M. Additionally, I belong to The Honor Society of Phi Kappa Phi. I have held various leadership positions throughout my pharmacy career. I strive to avidly augment my pharmacy school experience by actively participating in competitions and attending professional pharmacy meetings. I am highly ambitious, goal-oriented, and dedicated to the advancement of the pharmacy profession. I aim to be the best person I can be each day. My other hobbies include community service and volunteer initiatives, playing piano (over 15 years experience), photography, looking at nature, traveling, and reading. My current specialties of interest include critical care, managed care, and business/management.
