- Help develop online marketing
- Write script for advertising videos
- Develop story boards for advertising videos
This experience has helped develop my communications skills on a visual platform. Writing scripts for content to help tell a story during presentations with clients such as MIT, and Harvard have pushed me to understand and write for a specific audience. I have also been developing my cultural communication skills in preparation for educating students in South East Africa about Malaria and science around it. I have also developed my professional communications when looking for outsourcing help and negotiating and interviewing a candidate.
- Provided accurate and appropriate information in response to customer inquiries through phone calls and online Zendesk inquires.
- Writes copy for product listings on websites and Amazon.
- Inspects returned merchandise for defects and manages full quality control process.
- Process incoming orders from inception to fulfillment.
- Assists B2B sales and B2C sales.
This position developed my communication through working with B2B and B2C customers. Working with products in the E commerce industry helps develop knowledge for dealing with algorithms when it comes to customer issues. I learned how to represent a brand and help a customer have a positive recognition of the brand I was representing. I also grew in working with other businesses when they had issues with program implementation and coming up with logistical solutions such as international shipping.
- Planned, coordinated, and executed activities while guiding campers in personal growth and daily living skills.
- Assisted in direction and supervision of campers in their living unit and during activities while championing program initiatives and camp mission.
- Provided leadership to campers in all areas and acted as a role model in all areas of camp activities, including cleanliness, punctuality, chores, rules, and sportsmanship.
- Identified and responded to camper behavioral issues, and reported concerns to camp leadership.
- Communicated with parents regarding participant experiences and expectations.
- Maintained accurate program records, including incident reports, logs, and daily attendance reports.
In this experience, I learned the importance of a brand when dealing with customers. I had to properly communicate with a parent who wouldn't see or talk to their son for 4 weeks that they were okay and what activities they were experiencing. I also had to learn how to do that under the guidelines of Camp Lincoln which one of the top summer camps in the country. Making a positive impact of my campers resulted in direct feedback from parents which would result in the camper returning which means a returning customer.
