Charles Van-Hein Sackey

Majored in Chemical And Biomolecular Engineering, Minored in German
Georgia Institute of Technology, Class of 2019
From Accra, Ghana
Charles, here! Born in Ghana, I am privileged to be able to speak two local languages (Twi and Ga). Moreover, I extensively learned German and French. In spite of my great interest in engineering, I'm an ardent lover of the arts. From writing poetry to playing the flute, guitar, and piano, I find art as a beautiful way to express my feelings. Furthermore, I have vast experience in public speaking. I've given a variety of speeches from votes of thanks to introductory addresses. From time to time, I write articles about various topics, ranging from social justice to environmental degradation. Academically, I take great interest in concepts in geometry and linear algebra. I find both fields very practical, and quite intriguing as their applications can be found in numerous areas, especially chemistry and physics. Regarding engineering, I take interest in finding solutions to energy problems, as well as means of making the use of petroleum more environmentally friendly.
