There is a large crowd of internationals who have layovers in Atlanta, when this is the case it is not uncommon for them to shoot straight up Highway 400 and stop at the North Georgia Premium outlets. This is where I come in; a large majority of our customers were speakers of Mandarin therefore my boss was very thrilled to have me aboard!
Utilized Chinese to break through language barriers and meet sales goals
Maintained the stores display in order to comply with company policy and standard
As Residence Assistants we were responsible for fostering a community on our hall for students living in the dormitories. We did this by having socials for both our halls individually and the building as a whole. We were also responsible for budgeting and planning our own hall's socials. All the while maintaining a positive presence on campus and good grades in school. When not in class, we often sat at the front desk to ensure nothing unsafe entered the dorms. We regularly checked to be sure the dorms were safe, clean and free from any paraphernalia This truly was a full time job, and something I thoroughly enjoyed. Not only working with the residents was fun, but also having such a large group of great co-workers made the job awesome and worthwhile.
