Majoring in Osteopathic Medicine
Lincoln Memorial University, Class of 2018
From Oshkosh, WI
Goal-oriented woman with immense passion for women's health and education.
I graduated in May 2013 from Marquette University with a B.S. in Biomedical Sciences and am now in my second year at Lincoln Memorial University-DeBusk College of Osteopathic Medicine. I am pursuing a dual degree, DO/MBA program, from which I plan to graduate in 2018. Prior to medical school I was able to gain valuable clinical experience working as a medical scribe in a gastroenterology office and emergency department. At the same time as a Pure Romance consultant, I was able to empower women with sexual health knowledge and confidence while providing tools to enrich both their life financially and the life of their relationships. During medical school I have been active in our local free medical clinic, Servolution, and around the community in different volunteer capacities. Through various leadership roles I prepared myself to be a meticulous and empathetic doctor whom my patients will be comfortable speaking with regardless of the issue. I have also manifested strong time management and organization skills through these unique leadership positions. The Marquette motto of 'Be the difference' and Gandhi's "You must be the change you wish to see in the world" shape my visions and remind me to always strive to be better.
