Darby Matusz

I am an undergraduate psychology student at the University of Kentucky in my senior year. I have spent the last two and a half years at UK participating in psychology research labs with the focus of these labs spanning sleep and cognition, motivation and academic achievement, and pediatric clinical psychology. By participating in research across various disciplines in psychology I have been able to refine my research interests as I prepare for further training in graduate school. I'm interested in social and motivational factors related to health behaviors, particularly those in response to, or related to, stress and stress experiences. I am also interested in how these social and motivational factors can predict or promote resilience following stressful events.
