Team research was presented at the 2017 Georgia State University Research Conference and was awarded first place in Biology. A manuscript is currently being prepared for submission and publication is to be determined.

Served as a Research Assistant in Dr. Edmund Rodgerss Laboratory of Behavioral Endocrinology and facilitated research initiatives in Behavioral and Endocrine Flexibility in Convict Cichlids to improve the understanding of evolutionary benefit of monogamous relationships. Selected Contributions: Experimented cortisol and 11-ketotestosterone levels in pair bonded convict cichlids and played an instrumental role in various research projects by working in close collaboration with the research team. Gained practical knowledge and hands-on understanding in behavioral assays to observe hormonal fluctuations based on social environment. Accompanied the team in presenting the research at the Georgia State Undergraduate Research Conference in 2017 and earned first place in Biological Sciences. Researchs manuscript is currently being prepared for publication.
